PAYMENT OPTIONS

Medical Associates Hospital Limited is in the modern age of technology where we have a vast range of payment options readily available to our clients for every access.

Please see our payment options available:

  • Credit and Debit card payment: This is done via our main cashier. When a patient is discharged the relative or patient [if the patient is settling a bill] is escorted to the cashier by our billing clerk. The transaction takes place there and a receipt is issued immediately. There is a manual transaction option that is available for patients wishing to settle online with their credit card. There is a manual credit and consent form that is available to be emailed to the credit card holder giving consent for their credit card information to be used, when this is filled out and sent back, it is received by the Billings Supervisor or Internal Auditor. The information is given to the cashier for the payment to be taken via credit card machine and a receipt is issued, receipt can be given to the relative or scanned and emailed back to the cardholder.   
       
  •  Cash Payment: This is done via our cashier. The relative or patient [if the patient is settling the bill] is escorted to the cashier and payment is made, a receipt is issued immediately.
  •  Cheque Payment: Medical Associates policy does not accept personal cheques unless approval is given by one of our supervisors or directors. We accept company cheques once it is approved by one of our supervisors or directors. We accept managers’ cheques which would be given by the Billings Supervisor or staff on duty to assist in retrieving financial assistance from bank.When this is paid to the cashier a receipt is issued immediately.
  • Wire Transfer/Bank Transfer Payments: If the patient or relative wants to make an online payment via our bank account,  there is a form with our banking information that is given to the relative or patients would notify us of this via email or in person, and our accountant would confirm payments are received in our bank account.once this is done.
