Dr. Lysha Selvarajah

Dr. Lysha Selvarajah is the Clinical and Human Resources Administrator at Medical Associates Hospital and leads the Accident and Emergency Department. She graduated from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London, and trained in South East London and Kent. Her passion for emergency medicine and her decisive nature made her a perfect fit for her current role. Dr. Selvarajah is a strong advocate for patient education and quality management, playing a key role in Medical Associates Hospital's accreditation with Temos. After moving to Trinidad, she recognized the need for better public understanding of medical conditions and launched the "Medical Associates Health Check" podcast to educate the public about advanced medical treatments and technology available in Trinidad and Tobago. She co-hosts the podcast with Dr. Bristo, and together they promote high-quality patient care and education. The podcast features expert guests to provide credible information, supporting the hospital's commitment to excellent healthcare.
