Qualifications & Experience Requirement:
➢ Minimum of five (5) CXC O’Level subjects; three (3) of which must be English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject.

Oncology Nurse
Qualifications & Experience Requirement:
➢ Police certificate of character within 6 months
➢ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing / Licensure with the Nursing Council of Trinidad& Tobago
➢ At least 3 years’ practical experience as an oncology nurse in the hospital setting.
➢ Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN). – Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
➢ Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly emotional environment.
➢ Knowledge of current cancer treatment protocols and research. – Registered Nurse (RN) license.
➢ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
➢ Proficiency in administering chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.
➢ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
➢ Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
➢ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Duties & Roles/ Responsibilities:
➢ Administering chemotherapy and other cancer treatments, prescribing medications, monitoring physical conditions, and encouragement to patients.
➢ Assess patient health status and monitor for any changes.
➢ Educate patients and their families on the disease, treatment plans, and side effects.
➢ Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
➢ Manage symptoms and provide palliative care to ensure patient comfort.
➢ Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
➢ Conduct follow-up care and monitoring post-treatment.
➢ Advocate for patient needs and concerns within the healthcare system.
➢ Participate in cancer research and clinical trials as needed.
➢ Provide psychological support to patients and their families
